Breakfast Clubs

Free Breakfast is available for children every school day morning at the following schools.
  • Ecole Sifton School
  • Camrose Composite High School
  • Charlie Killam
  • Chester Ronning
  • Our Lady Of Mount Pleasant
  • Learning Together Program at Chester Ronning
  • Sparling School

The "Breakfast Clubs" are open to all children.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer at the schools.

Block Parties

Block Parties are events that happen sporadically throughout the year in various areas of the city.

The purpose of block parties is to encourage communities to meet their neighbors and therefore develop a sense of community.

Notices will be posted in areas well in advance of an event. Watch for us................

Emergency Fund

Financial assistance is available by contributions from member churches.

This fund is intended as a  "one time only" emergency intervention and is meant to provide emergency housing, feeding of transient/stranded families and individuals.

Funds are also available for rent, utility bills, prescriptions, gasoline. (available funds permitting)

This project also operates as a Lending Circle which allows the recipient of assistance the opportunity to repay Neighbor Aid.

Assessment will take place to validate need.

Medical Transportation

This is a volunteer program designed to provide transportation to those in the community without means to get to specialty medical appointments (only).

Destinations include Edmonton, Wetaskiwin, Daysland.

This is a no cost service. Two weeks notice required for out of town trips. Client is required to pay for parking, drive is to appointment and back NO stops in between.   Ride is pending on volunteer driver availability. Camrose Neighbor Aid Center reserves the right to cancel a trip. Neighbor Aid reserves the right to limit the amount of rides. Please note these rides are for individuals without means to get to specialty medical appointment only.
