History

Neighbor Aid was incorporated as a non profit organization in 1997. Our goal is to provide opportunities for Christians to put their faith into action. We started with the joining together of six evangelical churches providing outreach to the community of Camrose. Today twenty churches have come together to provide services in the form of:
  • Specialty medical transportation
  • Soup kitchens Martha's table
  • Food bank
  • Food for Kids - Breakfast Clubs in 6 local schools
  • SHINE project: mobilizing neighborhoods to develop a sense of community
  • Emergency housing, feeding
  • Some financial assistance available to qualifying individuals
  • Referrals to other agencies and services

WE CARE - WE LISTEN - WE RESPOND

We are:

  • Local churches working together with the community to meet the basic needs of our neighbors.
  • A unique "common sense" volunteer organization designed to help people in need.
  • Neighbor Aid provides organized volunteer services to meet the needs of people in the community, help that only your neighbors can provide.
